The Congdon family have been successfully running Hillview Riding Stables for over 45 years. Situated in its own grounds and a mere mile from Crewkerne town and less than 2 miles from Crewkerne Railway station.

The stables are open throughout the year to provide a service to people of all ages, whether you were "born in the saddle" or are just a beginner.

​

At Hillview we teach a braod variety of equestrian skills, ranging from beginners lessons to brush up sessions for the experienced rider. We also provide lessons for people with their own horses. We have an Indoor and Outdoor arena, so riding continues no matter what the weather conditions.

You can enjoy a leisurely hack in the beautiful countryside, along the many miles of bridleways and country lanes that surround the stables.

Hillview also has it's own cross-country course built on land owned by the stables, lessons are normally run throughout the summer.

We also provide a livery service here at Hillview, stabling and caring for privately owned horses and full use of our facilities are provided. Some horses have been at livery with us for several years.
